Quality Management
One management system for two production cores
Thaloplast’s two production cores each have their own building, raw-material store, lines and staff, under one management system. ISO 9001:2015 applies to both cores; pharma packaging is additionally managed to ISO 15378 and GMP principles.
Products are tested in-house against written instructions at every station.
One standard, two sets of requirements
Core 1: Hangers and recycled compounds
Managed to ISO 9001:2015 and audited under Sedex SMETA. Recycled compounds are GRS certified with a TC for every shipment; products comply with RoHS and REACH.
Core 2: Pharma, beverage and chemical packaging
Managed to ISO 9001:2015. Pharma packaging follows ISO 15378, is made in a Class D+ cleanroom and uses virgin resin only.
Separate from building to staff
Each core has its own building, raw-material store, lines and team.
One management system
Both cores run on one management system, under the same level of quality control.

In-house checks, with instructions at every station
Testing instructions are posted at each line. Operators check products against those written instructions, so every shift works to the same criteria.
The plant also has its own testing lab for material measurements.

Batch records for pharma packaging
Pharma packaging is blow-molded in a Class D+ cleanroom, managed to ISO 15378 and GMP principles. Manufacturing conditions are controlled to minimize contamination and keep quality consistent.
- Virgin resin only, strictly no recycled material
- Detailed batch records for every lot, with full traceability
- Capacity of up to 2 million pharma canisters a year

Pharma and recycling kept apart
The recycling lines have their own building, warehouse and personnel, fully separate from pharmaceutical operations.
Dedicated recycling and compounding processes keep the output material properties under control.
