Certified to the standards global customers audit against
ISO 9001:2015 is the quality management foundation for both production cores. Pharma packaging is managed to ISO 15378, recycled compounds are GRS certified, and the plant is audited under Sedex SMETA for ethical trade. Hangers and recycled compounds comply with RoHS and REACH for export.
SMETA (since 2019) and GRS (since 2022) were achieved working closely with Mainetti, our strategic partner since 2012, and are maintained to annual certification requirements.

GRS with every shipment
Thaloplast has held GRS certification since 2022 for recycled compound resins, in line with European market standards. Every shipment of recycled compound carries a GRS Transaction Certificate.
Since 2018, Thaloplast has exported recycled compounds directly from Vietnam to Europe:

Does Thaloplast issue GRS Transaction Certificates (TC)?
Yes. Every shipment of GRS-certified recycled compound comes with a GRS Transaction Certificate.
Which products does the GRS certification cover?
GRS covers recycled compound resins (rPP, rPS) from Core 1. Pharma packaging is outside this scope, as it uses virgin resin only.
Is recycled resin used in pharma packaging?
No. Pharma packaging uses virgin resin only, is produced in a Class D+ cleanroom and is managed to ISO 15378.
Where can I see the SMETA audit report?
The SMETA audit report is available in the Download Center on this website. For other versions, please send a request through the Contact page.
How can I get copies of the certificates?
