Partner with us to recycle plastic scrap
Thaloplast invites companies with plastic scrap to work with us and bring that material back into production. Our recycling workshop crushes, granulates and compounds plastic, with a capacity of 8,000 tonnes a year.
Every scrap stream differs in resin type, volume and location, so we agree the partnership model directly with each partner.

Recycling workshop capabilities
Crushing and granulating
Crushers and granulators run in a dedicated recycling workshop, turning scrap into recycled resin.
Compounding
Dedicated compounding controls material properties, producing rPP and rPS compounds for industrial use.
In-house testing
The on-site lab tests material properties against written instructions posted at each station.
Separate operations
Recycling has its own building, warehouse and staff, apart from pharmaceutical packaging.
GRS traceability
Output compound is GRS certified, with a Transaction Certificate for each shipment so buyers can document recycled content.
Scrap back in the supply chain
Recovered scrap is recycled into rPP and rPS compounds and supplied to Mainetti and to partners in Europe. The loop extends the life of the material and helps everyone involved meet EPR targets and ESG commitments.
