Thaloplast produces rPP and rPS recycled compounds engineered for consistent quality and traceability. The materials are GRS certified, with a GRS Transaction Certificate (TC) for every shipment, and comply with REACH and RoHS for export markets.
Capacity is 8,000 tonnes a year, enough to supply long-term programmes reliably.

Recycled materials certified to the Global Recycled Standard. Each shipment carries a Transaction Certificate so customers can document recycled content along their supply chain.

Material properties are controlled through dedicated recycling and compounding processes.
Comprehensive testing
Testing covers key physical, mechanical and chemical properties. Detailed test documentation is available on request.

Recycling lines, warehouse and personnel are fully separate from pharmaceutical operations.

Over 30,000 tonnes for Mainetti
Over the past 15 years, Thaloplast has supplied more than 30,000 tonnes of recycled compound, including rPP and rPS, to Mainetti. This long-term partnership reflects consistent material quality, reliable production and our commitment to sustainable manufacturing.
Since 2022, our recycled compounds have been GRS certified to meet European market standards.
Direct to Europe since 2018
In 2018, Thaloplast began exporting recycled compound directly to Europe. Material is packed and shipped straight from Vietnam to two partners:
- PPE Plastic Pool Europe (Belgium)
- Thees Plastic Recycling (Germany)
